What we build · Software rescue

We take over and fix existing software.

An inherited half-finished build, a previous agency that stopped responding, or a system that keeps breaking: we audit it, stabilize it, and get it back on track.

How a rescue works

01

Audit: one week, fixed fee

We read the code, test the system, and map the issues. You get a written report: what's broken, what's risky, and what it costs to fix. The report is yours to keep, whoever you hire next.

02

Stabilize

Critical issues first: crashes, security holes, data-loss risks, and missing backups. New features wait until the foundation is safe.

03

Fix what matters

The prioritized list from the audit, worked top-down: the bugs your users hit daily come before nice-to-have features. Weekly demos throughout.

04

Modernize as we go

Each fix pays down technical debt instead of adding to it: tests where none existed, documentation where there was only someone's memory.

05

Hand over or stay on

Take it fully in-house, or keep us on a maintenance plan. Either way you own everything at every step: code, infrastructure, and accounts.

What you get

  • Written audit report with prioritized fixes
  • Critical bugs and security issues fixed
  • Backups and monitoring where they were missing
  • Documentation for the system

Good to know

Sometimes a rebuild is the better call

If fixing the existing codebase would cost more than rebuilding it, the audit says so, with numbers. The audit exists so you can make that decision on evidence rather than on the word of whoever wants the rebuild contract.
